Christopher Birks is a Bachelor of Music (Hons) undergraduate at the University of Kingston where he studies performance and composition. Christopher is a versatile pianist and organist, with a passionate interest in a wide variety of musical styles. He studies the piano with Michael Round, and the organ privately with world-renowned organist Ian Curror, who is a professor at three of London's conservatoires.

Christopher is a former broadcast journalist and output producer for BBC News, ITV News and Sky News, but has left the world of TV production behind to focus on music. He conducts a busy freelance career as a Musical Director, organist, pianist and accompanist, where he works with a number of musical theatre productions, pantomimes and choirs in London. Christopher recently formed a clarinet and piano duo with the clarinettist Natalie Noonan-Smith.

Christopher has performed at the Royal Festival Hall, London Palladium, St. John's Smith Square, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, and the Rose Theatre in Kingston. He is a singer with London's Addison Singers, directed by Mr. David Wordsworth, where he has performed in Barcelona Cathedral, and has been a soloist in the world famous L'Eglise de la Madeleine. Christopher has been an organ and piano accompanist for the Horsley Choral Society in Surrey.
